But you should know what not to pack in your carry-on bag. If you were thinking of bringing any of these, you’ll either need to leave it at home, find an alternative, or deal with checking luggage.
According to the regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and general airport security standards, the following items are not allowed in men's travel bags for airplane security checks:
1、Sharp and dangerous tools: Including knives, scissors, razor blades, sharp tools, etc. Generally, these items must be checked in as luggage rather than carried on board, unless there are specific exceptions.
For example: The last time I travelled I forgot to put my classic Victoria pocket knife in my check in baggage and had to put it in the bins going through airport security and they let it go .This has happened a couple of times. So just to be aware maybe there letting those small knives through but not announcing it to the public.
2、Firearms and weapons: Including guns, bullets, explosives, and firearms. These items are strictly prohibited in carry-on luggage and must comply with airline and local regulations, with specific procedures for checked baggage if permitted.
3、1 How much liquid can you take on a plane?
Liquid containers are typically limited to a maximum of 100 milliliters per container, and all liquid items must be placed in a transparent 1-quart/1-liter bag. Each passenger is usually allowed to carry only one bag. You can still travel carry-on only with liquids. A one ounce (30ml) bottle of shampoo just lasted me 17 showers. Test your toiletries out ahead of time to see how much you really need.
Buy travel sized containers and fill them with shampoo, shower gel, and any other products you want to bring on your trip. Buy things like toothpaste in travel sizes. Try these really small ones if your trip is short, or these bigger ones that come in just under the limit if your trip is a little longer. Or try these solid toothpaste tabs so you don’t have to worry about the liquids issue. For example, I like to have my hand lotion in my purse, which is usually my personal item when I fly. So once I clear security, I take my lotion out of the liquids bag and put it in my purse for easy access while I’m on the plane.
